Plastic Pool Ball Grinder - 8-ball design
This grinder is made of sturdy plastic and shaped like an 8-ball from pool billiards, complete with the recognisable black-and-yellow colour patch. The inside is fitted with sharp teeth that grind herb or tobacco quickly into a coarse texture. With a diameter and height of 5.5 cm each and a weight of 89 grams, it's a compact, lightweight model that fits easily in a bag or jacket pocket.
Use
Fill the bottom half with a small amount of herb or tobacco, close the top half over it and turn it a few times. The magnets on the top and bottom keep the two halves firmly in place while grinding, so nothing spills out. Since this is a simple 2-piece model without a sifting screen or catch chamber, it works best for a single portion you process right away.
Maintenance and storage
Brush the teeth clean after use with a small brush so no residue is left to build up. Don't put the plastic in the dishwasher and avoid harsh cleaning products, as these can damage the material. Store the grinder somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight so the colours don't fade. Alongside this model, the Dutch-Smart range also includes other plastic grinders, such as the classic transparent version, for anyone after a different size or colour.
