Glass Bong 22cm
This Glass Bong is a hand-blown glass water pipe standing 22 cm tall, a size that is large enough for a stable, pleasant draw while still staying compact enough for a table or cabinet. The chillum fitting has a diameter of 14.5 mm, the most common size for bowls and downstems on this type of bong.
Use
Fill the chamber with water up to just above the opening of the downstem. Place your herbs in the bowl, light it and inhale gently: the smoke is filtered and cooled by the water before it reaches your lungs. Too much water means you risk drawing liquid up as well, so do not fill the chamber more than necessary. If you are new to using a water pipe, start with a small amount of herb to get a feel for the draw before packing a full bowl.
Maintenance
Rinse the bong with lukewarm water after every session to stop residue from building up. For a thorough clean, use isopropyl alcohol with coarse salt: swirl it around the chamber, let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse well with clean water. Avoid boiling water, glass can crack from the sudden change in temperature.
Storage
Let the bong dry completely after cleaning before storing it, preferably upright and somewhere it will not easily get knocked over. A fixed spot on a shelf or cabinet prevents the glass from getting accidentally damaged.
The Glass Bong 22cm pairs well with other models in the Dutch-Smart water pipe range, such as the Mini Bubbler and the Greenline Bong, for anyone who wants a few different sizes on hand.
