True valerian 1:1 extract - Valeriana officinalis

True valerian 1:1 extract - Valeriana officinalis

True valerian is most commonly found in the Netherlands and Belgium. Worldwide, valerian is also known for its strong scent, which is released as soon as the leaves are crushed and the extracts are released. It’s hard to imagine that in the 16th century, valerian was used as a perfume and fragrance for laundry.

Valerian is one of the herbs well-known in herbal medicine. The extracts in the valerian plant may effectively help you relax and provide a calming effect. It was first used by the ancient Greeks, who wrote several books about the effects of valerian.
