Alcohol prep pads, 70% alcohol - 100 count
These prep pads are small, individually wrapped wipes measuring 65 x 30mm, moistened with 70% alcohol. They're used to quickly disinfect surfaces and tools, such as a grow kit's injection port before inoculating it, or other growing tools like an inoculation needle or scalpel.
When working with spores or inoculation points, cleaning contact surfaces before use lowers the chance of contamination from unwanted mould or bacteria, which improves the odds of a successful grow.
Use
Take a prep pad out of its wrapper and wipe it over the surface or injection port you want to disinfect. Let the alcohol sit for a few seconds and air-dry. Use each pad once and then discard it.
Storage
Keep the box closed in a dry place out of direct sunlight so the pads don't dry out early. Don't use a pad once it feels dry.

Can I use these prep pads without a grow kit?
Yes, the pads are suitable for general disinfection of surfaces and small tools, not just a grow kit's injection port. For larger surfaces, use several pads, since each one is meant for single use.
What's the difference with the alcohol swabs in a dispenser (150 count)?
These prep pads are slightly larger (65 x 30mm) and don't contain added chlorhexidine, while the dispenser swabs are smaller and do contain chlorhexidine for extra disinfecting power on skin. Both use 70% alcohol as their base.
