Stashbox Battery - Standard AA
This stashbox is disguised as a regular 14 mm AA battery, complete with a brand label, colored bands and the kind of printing you'd expect on a real battery. At first glance there's no telling it apart from an actual battery: it matches the size and look of other batteries in a drawer, case or bag. Only once you unscrew the two halves does it become clear the inside is hollow, with room for a small amount of herbs or other small items.
Because it's a common battery size, the stashbox doesn't stand out among, for example, loose batteries for a Walkman, flashlight or remote control.
Because the weight and shape are close to a real battery, the stashbox doesn't stand out by feel either among other batteries, for example in a drawer full of remote controls or toys. That means you can store small amounts without needing a separate, recognizable storage box.
Use and care
Unscrew the battery in the middle to separate the two halves and reach the storage space. Screw the halves back together firmly after use so the contents can't shake loose during transport. Don't actually try to use the stashbox in battery-powered devices, since it is only an empty imitation shell with no working cell inside.
