Reloading dies

Your dies determine how your brass is formed and how your projectile is seated. That directly affects concentricity, neck tension and ultimately your groups. We carry dies and accessories from Redding, Triebel, L.E. Wilson, RCBS, Cortina Precision, Frankford Arsenal and Derraco.

Why good dies matter

A die is not just a simple form. It is a precision tool that shapes your brass to thousandths of a millimetre. The difference between a quality sizing die and an average one shows up immediately in your runout. And runout translates to group size, especially at longer distances. Good dies always pay for themselves.

Full length sizing dies

A full length sizing die pushes your brass back to near factory dimensions. Essential when you use brass in multiple rifles, or when you simply want to be certain your ammunition chambers reliably. We carry the Redding Type S Bushing Full Length Sizing Die, one of the most popular dies among precision shooters. With interchangeable bushings you decide exactly how much you size the neck, giving you full control over neck tension.

From Triebel we stock full length dies from their Algäu Series, available as a standard set and as a Bench Rest set. German made, tightly finished, excellent tolerances. L.E. Wilson offers their Bushing Full Length Sizing Die, known for its simplicity and accuracy. No unnecessary parts, just a die that does what it should. RCBS is also in the lineup with their X-FL Die sets as a solid option for those starting out.

Seating dies

How consistently you seat your projectile determines a large part of your shot to shot spread. A tenth of a millimetre difference in seating depth and your pressure changes, your velocity changes, your point of impact changes. The Wilson micrometer seating die is the standard among many precision reloaders. Compact, accurate, with micrometer adjustment down to thousandths. Triebel offers their Bench Rest seating dies with the optional ClickXact micrometer attachment for those who prefer click adjustments.

The Universal Seater Die from Frankford Arsenal works across multiple calibres. Useful if you do not want to buy a separate seating die for every calibre you load.

Die blanks

For reloaders who want to configure their own dies or have them custom reamed, there is the CP Die Blank from Cortina Precision. An unfinished die body that you can have reamed to your exact specifications by a specialist or yourself. That is the highest level of customisation.

Shellholders and accessories

Your shellholder determines how far your brass is pushed back in the sizing die, and with it your headspace. The Match grade shellholder kits from Derraco give you six shellholders per set in incremental thicknesses, so you can dial in exactly how much you bump your brass. Available for .223, .308W, .300 WM and .338 Lapua.

We also carry die rings from Derraco in 420 stainless steel, Dielocker Lock Rings from Frankford Arsenal, and a Stuck Case Remover from RCBS for when things go wrong. Because they do, even for experienced reloaders. Good to have one in your drawer.

Which die is right for you?

That depends on what you shoot and how precisely you want to load. For precision rifle, a bushing full length die combined with a micrometer seating die is the standard setup. For hunting where reliability comes first, a regular full length die set works perfectly fine. Not sure? Get in touch, we are happy to help you find the right choice for your calibre and application.
