Kansas 100x0.01g precision scale - USA Weight
USA Weight is a brand that specialises in digital precision scales and names its models after American cities, such as Atlanta, Detroit, and Kansas. The Kansas stands out for its round, silver-coloured design that looks like a mini CD case from the outside: only once you flip open the cover do you see the weighing platform and a clear blue-backlit display. Underneath that compact housing sits a sensitive sensor with a measuring range of up to 100 grams and an accuracy of 0.01 grams, suitable for precisely weighing small amounts such as herbs, coins, or precious metal.
Use and maintenance
Place the scale on a flat, stable surface and fully open the cover before weighing. Turn the device on and wait until the display reads zero; use the tare function to zero out the weight of a loose bowl or bag first, so you only read the weight of the contents. Then place what you want to weigh in the middle of the platform for the most stable reading. The scale automatically switches off after around 60 seconds of inactivity to save the battery, and it has automatic calibration. Keep the weighing surface clean and dry, and store the scale with the cover closed to prevent scratches on the display and platform.
