On Balance RMM-100 RELOADR: digital precision scale 100 x 0.005 g
The RMM-100 RELOADR is a digital precision scale from On Balance, with a capacity of 100 grams and a readability of 0.005 grams. That makes it suitable for accurately weighing small quantities, such as herbs, powders or other light materials. The stainless steel weighing platform is protected by a clear plastic cover, which also doubles as a large powder pan while weighing.
The display has backlighting, so the scale stays readable even in low light. A tare/zero function lets you subtract the weight of your own bowl or tray from the measurement first, so you only see the weight of the contents.
Use
Turn the scale on and wait until the display reads zero; use the tare function if needed to compensate for an extra bowl. Place the material to be weighed on the platform and read the weight on the backlit screen. After three minutes of inactivity the scale switches off automatically to save the batteries.
Care
Keep the weighing platform clean and dry and remove spilled material right away, so it does not affect the measurement. Store the scale with the protective cover on the platform to prevent scratches. Replace the batteries in time; a dim or flickering display is usually the first sign that the batteries are running low.

FAQ
Is the RMM-100 suitable for heavy items?
No, the maximum capacity is 100 grams; for heavier measurements a scale with a higher capacity and coarser readability is a better choice.
Do I need to calibrate the scale?
The included 100 gram calibration weight is meant to check the accuracy and adjust it if needed, especially after transport or a period of disuse.
