"00" Size Capsule Machine - 50 capsules
This capsule machine lets you fill up to 50 empty "00" size capsules with your own herbal powder, extract or supplement in just a few minutes. Size "00" is one of the most commonly used capsule sizes and holds roughly 0.95 to 1 ml; exactly how much powder fits depends heavily on the powder's density, but for most herbal powders that works out to somewhere between 400 and 750 mg per capsule.
The machine consists of a plate with 50 cavities for the bottom and top halves of the capsules, a divider card to spread the powder layer evenly, and a tamper to press the powder down before closing the capsule. That means you don't have to fill each capsule by hand, which quickly becomes messy and time-consuming when you're making 50 at once.
Use
Place the bottom halves of the empty capsules into the cavities of the machine. Use the divider card to spread your powder evenly across all the openings, so each capsule gets roughly the same amount. Press the powder down lightly with the tamper for a firmer fill, then place the top halves on top. With a bit of practice, you can fill 50 capsules in about 10 minutes. Work on a dry, clean surface: damp powder clumps together and is harder to spread evenly, and loose capsules roll off a smooth surface easily.
