Cones

Buy cones: pre-rolled papers for your joint

A cone is a pre-rolled, empty rolling paper with a filter tip inside. No rolling needed: fill, pack, twist the top and you're done. This category has cones in every size, from a small 6-pack to the 280 mm Giga cone, plus a shaker that fills 25 cones at once. Buy them in small packs or in a value display. Prefer rolling your own? Which cone suits you?

The most important choice is the size. That decides how much fits in the cone and how long it lasts.

Cone sizes

  • Small: the smallest size, comparable to a regular cigarette. Handy if you don't need much, such as the Cones 6-pack Small.
  • 1¼: slightly larger than small, such as the Raw 1¼ cones.
  • King size, 109 mm: the most popular size. For example the 109 mm king size cones, 12-pack.
  • Extra large, 180 and 280 mm: for when you're with a group or want something special.

How to fill a cone

  1. Grind your herbs or tobacco finely with one of our grinders. Fine material makes the cone burn more evenly.
  2. Fill the cone a little at a time through the open top.
  3. Tap the cone gently on the table now and then, or pack the filling lightly with a stick, so no air pockets form.
  4. Twist the paper closed at the top and your cone is ready.

Need to make a lot at once? The Cone Filler Shaker fills 25 king size cones in a few minutes.

Small packs or a display

You can buy cones in packs of 3, 6 or 12, but also in a display with several packs. If you smoke regularly, a display works out cheaper per cone. A pack of 12 king size cones, for example, costs less per cone than a pack of 3. Want to try a few sizes first? Start with a small pack. The Raw cones are made from unbleached paper, for those who prefer not to use bleached papers.

Frequently asked questions about cones

What's the difference between a cone and a hand-rolled joint?

There's no difference in the filling. A cone is simply pre-rolled, so you don't have to roll it yourself. Handy if you find rolling tricky or want to save time.

Does a cone have a filter?

Yes, the cones in this category have a filter tip at the narrow end.

Why does my cone burn unevenly?

Usually the filling is uneven or too loose. Grind the material finely and tap the cone a few times while filling.

Am I allowed to buy cones?

Yes, cones are legal smoking accessories. Dutch-Smart only sells to customers aged 18 and over.
