Dutch-Smart merchandise
Our own merchandise consists of trucker caps with the embroidered Dutch-Smart logo and grinders with our logo on the lid. The caps have a sturdy, structured front, a mesh back for ventilation and an adjustable snapback strap, so one size fits most heads. You can choose from eight versions, from black, khaki and moss green to camo, arctic camo and neon green.
For grinding your weed there is the 48 mm metal Dutch-Smart grinder with pollen catcher, plus a lightweight 60 mm acrylic grinder with a magnetic lid. You will find more smoking accessories in our head shop.

Trucker caps and grinders with the Dutch-Smart logo
We have been selling smart shop and head shop products from Helmond since 2011. Our merchandise is what we wear and use ourselves: trucker caps and grinders with the Dutch-Smart logo. It is not a big clothing line, just a small selection of things that last.
Where does the trucker cap come from?
The trucker cap comes from the American Midwest. In the 1960s and 1970s, farm supply and animal feed companies handed out free caps to farmers, with a foam front for the logo and a mesh back to keep cool. Advertising on wheels, in other words. From the 1990s skaters and musicians picked the cap up, and it has been a streetwear staple ever since.
The Dutch-Smart trucker caps
All caps share the same base. The front is structured and keeps its shape, even after a lot of wear. The logo is embroidered rather than printed, so it does not wear off. The mesh back lets air through, which makes the cap comfortable on a hot festival day. The snapback strap lets you adjust the size: one size fits most.
Understated colours
If you want something that goes with everything, pick the black trucker cap. Khaki and moss green are muted earth tones that work well with outdoor and casual clothing.
Camo
The camo version has a classic camouflage pattern, a black mesh back and a water-repellent front. The arctic camo cap is light instead, in white, grey and pale blue, and looks good with darker clothes.
Bold versions
Orange with black and green with black give a clear colour contrast that makes the logo stand out. The neon green and black cap is the brightest of the range and still catches the eye at festivals when the light drops.
Caring for your cap
Do not put a trucker cap in the washing machine, as the front will lose its shape. Clean marks with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, and let the cap dry flat or on a cap form. Hang it on a hook or store it flat to avoid creases in the peak.
Dutch-Smart grinders
Metal grinder, 4-piece, 48 mm
The metal Dutch-Smart grinder is made of aluminium and measures 48 mm across and 41 mm high. It consists of a lid with teeth, a grinding chamber, a mesh screen and a collection chamber at the bottom, the pollen catcher. That is where the fine crystal powder, also known as kief, gathers after falling through the screen. Brush the teeth and screen clean now and then and it will keep turning smoothly.
Acrylic grinder, 3-piece, 60 mm
The Dutch-Smart acrylic grinder is lighter and simpler. The blades are plastic but properly sharp, and a small magnet keeps the lid closed. Do not grind your weed too fine, or your joint will not get enough airflow. Too coarse and it burns quickly and unevenly. Looking for other sizes or materials? Browse all grinders.
We only sell grinders and other head shop products to adults aged 18 and over.
